General Features
The FIP-IE was created with the objective of stimulating private investments in infrastructure projects of public interest, in the areas of energy, transport, water, basic sanitation and irrigation.
This type of investment instrument benefits the individual investor with income tax exemption on the distribution of income to quota investors, as well as on the capital gain obtained in the negotiation of quotas on the stock exchange in the secondary market.
As a way of facilitating access to the aforementioned incentives, BV Asset developed three investment funds for participation in infrastructure aimed at the generation of “clean” energy.
Under these conditions, the energy generated by the fund’s member projects is less polluting, causes low environmental impact, contributes to a cleaner and more sustainable energy matrix and tends to be more advantageous for companies that consume this type of energy, given the cost of inputs and incentives in the transmission tariff.
